Here at Bark and Miao we are confident you will be happy with your purchase, but should you want to return/exchange any item bought from us please follow the instructions below.
In line with the Distance Selling Regulations you have a seven working day cooling off period after receiving your order; after 14 days we are willing to issue a credit note. The customer must contact Bark and Miao Ltd in the first instance to arrange the return/exchange of the items, giving your reason for return. This can be done via email@example.com. Please note – this does not apply to bespoke ‘made to measure’ items or ‘bespoke fabrics’, which cannot be returned. The product must be in ‘as new’ and resaleable condition on return. Please note that if you are returning a pet bed, pet jumper, pet collar, or any other item that has been in contact with your pet, it must be completely clean of hair. In the unlikely event of a product being returned to us which we have to clean, then we reserve the right to return it to you. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns on any items purchased in our sale unless they are faulty. Sale items are normally end of lines or discontinued lines which is why they are such bargains. We are happy to exchange for any other products.
For an exchange, we ask you place a note in the package with your specific requirements. Where we have not been at fault, we ask that you please add £6 for beds and £3.90 for other items, in with the returned goods to cover the postage to send out the new item. The product must be in ‘as new’ and resaleable condition on return. Please note that if you are returning a pet bed, pet jumper, pet collar, or any other item that has been in contact with your pet, it must be completely clean of hair. In the unlikely event of a product being returned to us which we have to clean, then we reserve the right to return it to you.
Orders are checked before being dispatched and are packaged well to avoid damage during transit, however, if your order is damaged or faulty when you receive it please notify us within 48 hours and return the faulty goods within 28 days of the notification. Despite the fact that the goods are faulty, they must be returned to Bark and Miao and you are responsible for their safe return to us so please make sure that the goods are suitably packaged and that you obtain proof of postage. On larger items we can help book the return courier but you are responsible for packaging the product appropriately and for obtaining proof of postage. If you are exchanging a faulty product we will send a replacement to you free of charge providing the faulty goods are received. If we dispatch a replacement before receiving the faulty goods ‘on trust’ you will still need to return the faulty goods to us within 28 days or you will be invoiced for the full price of the replacement product plus shipping.
Please note we are not liable for any packages lost in the post, and therefore suggest the item must be sent back using a trackable/recorded delivery method as it was dispatched. This is to avoid lost items and so that we can track your item. If returned within the cooling off period, a refund for the product price and delivery charge will be initiated once we have received the returned goods. The customer will be responsible for the delivery cost for returning the items unless there has been an error on our part or the item is faulty. If we do not receive goods that you have sent back to us, and if we have already issued a refund, you will be re-charged for the full price of the product as it is your responsibility to return the goods to us in a saleable condition.
